Simon Keep originally become a sound obsessive whilst studying at Norwich art school making sound installation's and electro-acoustic compositions.  After spending two years in Soho working at The Sound Designers and 750 MPH, he set up his own company creating sound for film, animation, motion graphics and branding. Christmas 2005 saw his feature length debut as sound designer and Foley artist for a BBC adaptation of The Snow Queen. Over his 10 years working as a sound designer he has been involved in a diverse range of projects, including radio, performance and alongside artists creating multichannel sound installations in New York, Shenzhen and Memphis. He has also composed a site-specific sound piece for The Tate Modern Turbine Hall. Currently Simon works from a sound studio in rural Suffolk where his other obsession is playing accordion in an eastern european folk band.  There are two CDs of his work available from record labels, one on Expanding (UK) and another on Sub Rosa (Belgium).  He has also been known to hire a hot air balloon and record sounds from the sky.
