Mazda CX5

Over the past few months I have been working with advertising agency Imagination creating sound design for various Mazda CX5 launch events. Including an augmented reality film with the car navigating its way through shards of ice, breaking through a wall and the sound design for it's "head up display".  I also worked on the sound design for an in-car sound track that would be triggered by GPS signals as the car drove around a race track.

Lancashire Cancer charity video

Another job for Wash Design, a advert for a Cancer charity. I had to make Foley for the giant coin rolling from the top of a hill through towns and into a city. To get this sound I recorded my car rolling down our local byway.  I then mixed it with a few metallic sounds and then put it through a doppler to give it a bit movement.

Chetwynde School

Working with Wash Design I created some playful music and a little bit of Foley for an animated school prospectus.  To make the music I used recordings of instruments from a school's music room, shakers, rattles, a harmonica, wooden blocks and a jaw harp...

Steve Claydon

I set up this sound installation at Firstsite gallery in Colchester for the artist Steve Claydon. A feedback loop between the amp and microphone causes sonic modulations and the the bell to resonate.

Yoda Vodafone

Part of the Vodaphone Yoda advertisement campaign I recorded the location sound, editied and provided the mix for a "The Office" style short film introducing Yoda as the new member on the Vodafone team. The film was commissioned by RKCRYR.
